It's Logical

Jack and Mary live together and between the two of them have three chores to perform. The chores are vacuuming the carpets, mowing the lawn, and feeding the baby. Each chore takes thirty minutes, and they only have one vacuum cleaner, one lawn mower and one bo??le of milk. What is the shortest amount of time in which Jack and Mary can complete the chores?

The answer is 30 minutes. One of them will take 30 minutes to mow the lawn, while the other will take 30 minutes to vacuum and feed the baby at the same time (bet you can guess who will do each!)

Can you add 5 straight lines to the image to make the whole form nine?

See picture.

There are 2 flagpoles that are each 100 foot high. A rope that is 150 feet long is strung between the tops of the flagpoles. At its lowest point the rope sags 25 feet about the ground. How far apart are the flagpoles?

The "2" flagpoles are the same pole. If the rope sags down to 25 foot off the ground from a height of 100 foot, then it is just folded in half (150/2 = 75 = 100-25).
